Extracurricular Activities

Here at Horseshoe we provide a variety of extracurricular activities which involve children of all ages.

• Drama - drama classes are provided at the nursery every Friday for children from two years upwards by Dave from Dramabugs.  There is no extra charge for this activity. 
• Gym - classes for children aged two and up take place every Thursday afternoon with Janet.  There is no extra charge for this activity.
• Football - lessons are with Stuart from Football Focus on Wednesday mornings for children aged two upwards.  There is no extra charge for this activity.
• Yoga - classes take place every Tuesday for the children in Preschool Two.  Classes are taught on site at the nursery by Melissa, a qualified yoga teacher from Yoga Esteem.  (NB a small charge applies for this activity.)
• Jo Jingles - this music and movement activity takes place every Tuesday morning and all ages can participate.  (NB a small charge applies for this activity.)
• Mobile Library - this council-funded library visits Horseshoe roughly once a month.
   

Additionally, we also engage the children in other stimulating activities including cookery (with Kevin, our chef) and IT (in our Preschool rooms).  Ballet classes have been provided at the nursery and will resume when Jennifer, the ballet teacher, returns from maternity leave.
