Celebrations were held at Horseshoe Day Nursery and Preschool at it's annual graduation ceremony on Friday 16th July.

The children and staff at all celebrated the achievements of their preschool children last week. The nursery, which is situated within the grounds of Sandown Racecourse, hosted its annual graduation ceremony on Friday 16^th July. The children adorned mortar boards and cloaks and they made their own mortar boards too as they proudly collected their certificates from Preschool principal Jackie Williams. Their parents were proud onlookers as the children beamed for the cameras! The celebrations also included a DJ with party games and wonderful time was had by all. Nursery Manager Claire Budd said ‘we are all so proud of our preschool children and will miss them so much as they leave us over the coming weeks. The preschool graduation ceremony is an important part of our calendar and we always welcome the opportunity to get our parents and children together on occasions like these. We always have tissues at the ready, and this time they were as much for the staff as the parents!!’

Natalie London, parent, said ‘The graduation day was a huge success with a real party atmosphere enjoyed by the children, parents and staff alike.  It was lovely, informal and with a real sense of celebration across the whole nursery. It was helped by the good weather and the disco which seemed to bring the whole nursery together for the celebration.’
